The lens movement and zoom function may be very slow when switched on if the camera hasn't been in use for a few hours.

This can also cause focusing issues with the lens. Switching the camera off and then on again several times may temporarily rectify this problem but it will reoccur. The following error messages may also be displayed. "System Error Focus" or "System Error Zoom".

 T he lens might stick when retracting after switching the camera off.
